A word from Mr Hastings, Director

Bugsy Malone is a fantastic play to put on because it gives the children the opportunity to do some heavyweight,

serious acting whilst at the same time enjoying the pratfalls, pie-fights and pandemonium.  It offers a rich balance of dialogue and music and provides the opportunity to devise song and dance routines.  I have thoroughly enjoyed the preparations that have led to this year's performance.  It has been hard work for all concerned but I'm sure you will agree that the show will stay in yours and the children's memories for many years to come and was a great success!  Well done to all our children!

Before the performance there were many rehearsals and our dedicated parents - Mrs Stansfield, Mrs McCormack

and Mrs Beaumont-Dark who came in to school on many occasions to make and fit costumes.  Thank you.

We got through lots of hair gel during the week!  Thank you to Mrs Bent, Monty and our staff for their make up and hair styling.
