Upper School Sports Day 2010
After many heats in the preceding week, the athletics finals were held as part of Upper School Sports Day on the last Friday before Half-Term. Saxons finished ahead with a win as Form 6 pupils lined up for the Tug of War battle.....
After two rounds it was one all a piece and there was everything to play for. In the end Saxons managed to tug that little bit harder to win 2-1.
The whole school relay had to be the most exciting event of the day with all the children in the upper school playing their part. Form 3 started off the race and in turn passed to pupils in the forms above them ending in a tremendous race to the finish by Form 6. The final result was a Draw.

The House Relay shield was presented jointly to the House Captains Vignesh Sriram (Saxons) and Matthew Stansfield (Angles) and Vignesh received the House Athletics Cup on behalf of Saxons House as the overall winner.
