CURRICULUM
Drama
Self-expression through drama helps to impart self-confidence and develop the ability of the individual to work as part of a team.
Regular trips are also organised to Stratford and Birmingham theatres.
In addition to lesson times, all pupils are given the opportunity to take part in a play each year at the school. Early Years stage their own special performances twice a year, whilst Pre-Prep children (Form 1 & Form 2) perform a nativity play at Christmas.
In the Upper School there are opportunities for children in Form 3, 4 and 5 to take part in both contemporary and Shakespeare workshops, whilst Form 6 pupils perform in a major production during the Summer Term. Children have the opportunity to choose their roles either as members of the cast or in technical support.
