PE & Games

All pupils take part in Physical Education lessons and play games on one or two afternoons each week, depending on their age.

The programme is carefully balanced and graded for the children’s enjoyment and to promote physical development.

The principal Autumn Term sports are rugby for boys and netball for girls.

In the Spring Term boys play football and girls hockey.

During the Summer Term boys play cricket while the girls play rounders. Boys and girls also take part in athletics, swimming and tennis.

There are opportunities for girls and boys to play some of these sports on a mixed basis according to preference and suitability.

Teams from Eversfield compete against other schools in a variety of sports throughout the year, and all children can play in a representative team for the House Matches. Some children are selected for County squads.
