Charitable Support and Citizenship

Every year the School supports a charity which is chosen by the pupil-elected School Council. The whole school takes part in numerous fund-raising initiatives to raise money for the charity, offering children an understanding of good citizenship. Annual donations of between £10,000 and £15,000 are regularly made.

Pupils also immerse themselves in a number of projects to support the School’s chosen charity which over recent years have included: a popular Swim and Splash Social with children from Solihull Young Carers; a trip to a residential care home with Pets as Therapy; and taking part in a series of art sessions, led by the Eversfield’s Head of Art, with day patients at Marie Curie Hospice.

So much goodwill, effort and time reflect the care and concern pupils have for those who are less fortunate than themselves.
