Mathematics

Solid foundations in mathematics are paramount for children to succeed in life. The mathematics curriculum at Eversfield is diverse and stimulating. Pupils are encouraged to be independent thinkers from a young age and are guided to try many different methods and strategies to reach conclusions.

Basic numeracy skills are taught from Nursery upwards, but pupils are constantly encouraged to use their knowledge to solve problems and relate mathematics to every day life.
