Classrooms and Specialist Facilities
Eversfield School is justifiably proud of its excellent modern teaching
facilities. Classrooms are bright and spacious, offering pupils
the opportunity to learn in an attractive and inspiring environment. All Upper School and Pre-Prep classrooms benefit from interactive white board technology, which works in harmony with traditional teaching methods.
The school also boasts a range of
specialist rooms designed specifically for dedicated teaching purposes.
Science lessons are held
in a well-equipped laboratory, with a strong emphasis on practical
work and experiments.
French is taught in a
dedicated classroom, where special care is taken to promote enjoyment
of language learning and good conversational skills.
The ICT suite features
an advanced network of computers and associated hardware, with supervised
access to the internet and e-mail facilities. There are also laptops for use in individual classrooms which have wireless connectivity within the Upper School block.
Art is taught in a light, modern well resourced studio and Design & Technology is taught in a new purpose-built area adjacent to this. Food Technology has its own dedicated room with ovens, microwaves and a wide range of cooking equipment.
A new music
block was completed in October 2009 and there are smaller music practice rooms where pupils learning musical instruments
receive individual and group tuition.
