SUMMER TERM 2010
NURSERY
Nursery children got into the Wimbledon spirit thanks to Mrs Jennings who very kindly came in to give pupils a tennis lesson.
We have had two special visitors this term - Mrs White brought in her rabbit and we had a visit from the local vet.
The wonderful sunshine has meant many enjoyable days outside making the most of Eversfield's facilities.
We took part in the Eversfield sponsored walk to raise money for The Birmingham City Mission and held our own Nursery sports day.

We have enjoyed cooking and especially tasting our efforts!
And we even managed to fit in a trip to Twycross Zoo!
RECEPTION
It's been a busy last term in Reception and sad to say farewell to our Form 6 buddies who are moving on to senior school in September. In order for the children to have a last afternoon together we organised a picnic on the field and a treasure hunt around school. The Form 6 were also happy to perform some of their numbers from Grease again to popular demand!
This term as part of our Knowledge and Understanding of the World topic, we have been looking after and nurturing our very own caterpillars and learning about the life cycles of butterflies and frogs. Just before the end of term we took our butterflies outside and released them into the wild.
We have taken part in all of the special school events - French Day, Green Day, Sponsored Walk, Sports Day, Swimming Sports as well as going on a trip to The Thinktank Museum in Birmingham.
