Artistic Inspiration and Observation: Form 6 Art Enrichment Day
Our attic art studio is a nurturing ground for creative talents and bringing their creative ideas to fruition Form 6 recently took part in an art enrichment day with Mrs Beech. Their task was to make a composition inspired by either their hobby or the work of an acclaimed artist.
The workshop started with an observational exercise to draw an orange or lemon which later would be incorporated as ‘an element of surprise’ into their finished composition. Having researched their subject or favoured artists via books and the internet, they then used their knowledge to inspire and plan their canvas backgrounds.
As the day progressed their work developed in many different, interesting, and creative ways.
