ESA Funds Extend Digital Resources

The 30 new iPads, cases and charger unit purchased at the beginning of term with funds kindly donated by the ESA are being embraced into the curriculum in so many ways.

A typical day might see them being used in Middle School to secure and assess literature comprehension skills, or provide the platform to take part in an interactive word game for foreign language learning.

The devices are helping all the children to extend their keyboard skills, understanding of multi-touch navigation and problem-solving abilities, and as a completely portable tool. The iPad camera is used regularly to capture photos both inside and outside the classroom, for the children to record their drama performances and by members of Photography Club who like to get creative.

Thank you to the ESA for the £10,000 allocation of funds to allow us to extend our digital resources for the children.
