Eversfield Voices: Celebrating the Power of Music
In a bid not to disappoint, having made the decision to withdraw from the national Young Voices concert series due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, Eversfield’s Director of Music, Mr Biggs, staged our own Eversfield Voices 2022 concert for pupils in Form 6.
Stepping into the spotlight, Form 6 pupils collectively performed a programme of traditional and contemporary music from stage and screen, with specially choreographed moves. The concert also featured six crowd-pleasing 'celebrity guest performers' from Form 6 who confidently hit the stage to perform solo. An enthusiastic audience were soon up on their feet clapping and moving to the beat.
To perform collectively with school friends helped boost all the children's confidence and ability to communicate as part of a team; it certainly made for an exciting and memorable musical experience.
