Swimming Squad Make a Wave
It has been a busy week for our swimmers with the Eversfield squad taking part in the qualifying rounds of the IAPS Championships. The squad of 16 from Years 5 and 6 performed tremendously well finishing 1st in a third of all the races, and securing a top 3 position in 21 of the 22 heats they took part in.
With approximately 400 schools taking part in the competition, and over 30 qualifying galas across the UK during the spring term, we have to wait patiently now until later in the year to hear whether or not our swimmers have done enough to be invited to the IAPs National Swimming Finals held at the London Aquatics Centre in June.
We have got everything crossed for the team who competed and represented Eversfield:
