During Lent Term we were on the hunt for Eversfield’s best storytellers! Our House Creative Writing Competition encouraged the children to have fun with writing, to be as imaginative as they could and to make us laugh, cry or just be blown away by their creativity. Read more

Breathtaking skills and nerves of steel were on display during our recent Spelling Bee competition. The brave finalists stood before their peers in the JSB to spell a range of fiendishly difficult words selected by their teachers. The overall house competition was won for the second year running by the Saxons. Read more

Breaking a seven year run for Angles, it was Saxons House that seized this year's House Music Competition Cup.   There was just one house point separating the two houses as the performance day approached. Read more

House Music Hits the Spotlight

For the first time in three years parents, families and friends were able to join us for our House Music Competition. The concert provided a wonderful performance opportunity for all the musicians and singers and took us on a dazzling world tour. Read more

Going the Distance on Sports Day

As far as the sporting calendar goes, it does not get much bigger than Sports Day. All the children compete in track and field events, with the field events all taking part before the running races that are viewed by spectators. Read more

In glorious sunshine, the Angles and Saxons have been doing battle on the netball court and football pitch all this week. The Junior Netball Cup rested on the result of one match. Read more

Angels Secure House Hockey

Hockey proved to be very popular during Michaelmas term, with more children than ever choosing to play with enthusiasm and dedication both in lessons and in matches. To award the Senior House Hockey Cup, four matches were played. Read more

On Your Marks for Super Sports House Events

There was much excitement for our house sports events, the first we have been able to hold since summer 2019! The old favourites such as the shuttle race, tug-o-war, relays, and egg and spoon race all made a much applauded appearance as Angles v Saxons battled to be crowned champions. Read more
