The Magic of Maths
A team of our talented mathematicians journeyed to King Edward's School, Birmingham, to join pupils from primary schools across the West Midlands taking part in the Year 4 KES Maths Challenge. The team worked against the clock to complete a crossnumber puzzle and compete in a fast-paced relay. Read more

Mathematical Marvels
Super proud of our three teams who took part in today's Princethorpe College Maths Challenge. Competing against 52 teams from 25 local schools our enthusiastic mathematicians Yusuf, Yahya, Vira, Lena, Rohan and Aarian completed a series of puzzles that required both reasoning skills and mathematical knowledge. Munchie Maths
Armed with over 100 Cadbury Twirl bars Mrs Buxton instantly caught the attention of Form 5 in their Maths lesson. They had lots of fun and quickly grasped the concept of decimals and place value using the bars to help represent the value of numbers. Read more

Savvy Business Skills
In true apprentice-style, Form 6 have been working this term on a multi-skills Maths challenge to develop and launch their own café. Congratulations to Aryan, Tom, Henry and Henry for demonstrating their savvy business skills and clinching the Most Profitable Business Award for their café business venture, Breakfast Barn. Delivering data with scientific precision our new weather station has certainly been put through its paces this week with the changeable conditions. Rising to the Maths Challenge

Maths Masters
Huge congratulations to our team of Year 5 mathematicians who came third overall in the King Edward's School, Birmingham Year 5 Maths Challenge. Rayaan, Yuqing, Lksh and Aryan worked together fantastically well and Rayaan was even invited to show all the participants how to solve one of the challenging problems. Read more

Junior Apprentices
In true apprentice-style, Form 6 have been working this term to develop and launch their own café business ventures. Their multi-skills Maths challenge required them to collectively draw on their creativity to develop their marketing materials, maximise their seating capacity and carefully work through their costings to maximise profitability on their chosen menu.
