Reception's Polar Expedition

The Reception classrooms have a distinctive wintery feel to them as Miss Wigmore and Miss Chohan start to explore the Artic and Antarctic to expand the children’s understanding of the polar regions. They take a completely immersive approach and it’s virtually impossible to find an individual lesson that doesn’t have a polar twist. Read more

Chinese New Year has been a perfect way to extend the Reception children’s understanding of the world.   By learning about different seasonal celebrations we are able to share the importance of events to different cultures, and introduce the children to different traditions and customs that they may not be familiar with.
