Meet the Melody Makers
This term Mrs McCabe launched the Melody Makers Scheme as an introductory access route to orchestral instruments for children in Middle School and Upper School. Over 5 weeks, 15 children have received a weekly group lessons in a variety of instruments. 4 children have been learning Toot (a starter flute), 4 children learning Dood (starter clarinet), 4 children learning violin and 3 children learning trumpet.
The Melody Makers were able to experience what it is like to play ensemble this week as they enthusiastically performed their piece, Two at Twilight, alongside members of the Eversfield Orchestra.
