New Pastoral Initiative: Working with Boys
This week we are launching our new Working with Boys programme, currently being delivered to pupils in Forms 5 and 6. Led by Mr. Leonard, this initiative is a key addition to our PSHE and pastoral provision, designed to mirror the success of our Girls on Board programme.
While Girls on Board helps our girls navigate complexities and dynamics of girl friendships, Working with Boys focuses on creating a culture of mutual respect and emotional intelligence among our older boys. Through structured discussions and age-appropriate activities, the boys explore themes of self-respect positive behaviour, and resilience. By fostering a safe space to discuss emotional awareness and respectful relationships, we aim to help our boys navigate the challenges of growing up with confidence and empathy.
This programme aligns closely with our school values and our commitment to creating a respectful and inclusive learning environment for all children.
