A Study on Enhancing Parental Engagement Through Seesaw

In a recent research study conducted at our school, Miss Murphy (Director of Teaching and Learning) explored how the Seesaw digital platform enhances parental engagement and supports student achievement. The academic poster reflects how Seesaw is designed to connect parents, teachers, and students from kindergarten to Year 6, providing tools for communication and sharing classroom activities.

The poster also illustrates how the research highlighted that Seesaw plays a crucial role in keeping parents informed and engaged in their children’s learning. Both teachers and parents expressed positive feedback, with over 85% agreeing that it fosters a stronger connection between home and school. Based on these findings, we will be implementing recommendations to improve the user experience to further strengthen our educational community and help students thrive academically. A folder system has already been set up so that activities can be revisited easier.

Thank you to all of you that participated in this research and we look forward to continuing to work together to support your child’s learning journey!
