The Big Biodiversity Boost
The eco-council have been boosting local biodiversity and encouraging pollinating insects to school. On Monday we crowned Helen (Form 2) the winner of our Bug Hotel Design Competition; she'll be building her bug house in the nature area next week. To support our new insect guests, our eco-reps have cultivated pollinator-friendly wheelbarrow gardens to position around the school grounds and delivered a lesson to their forms on the importance of pollinators, sending every pupil home with a packet of wildflower seeds to help spread our environmental impact across the Eversfield community
