House System

At the heart of our community lies a vibrant House system that underpins the daily experience for every pupil. Upon joining, children and staff are inducted into one of our two historic Houses, Angles or Saxons. This affiliation fosters a deep sense of belonging and healthy competition that extends to the whole family; every parent, pupil and member of staff proudly knows exactly where their House loyalty lies.

The children work hard to earn rewards for their House in the form of Pluses, awarded not only for academic diligence but for embodying our CARE Code of Conduct through kindness and exemplary manners. This spirit of ambition extends to a diverse calendar of House competitions, ranging from spirited sports matches and music festivals to intellectual quizzes. Through these challenges, pupils develop vital leadership skills and collective pride, learning to celebrate both individual achievement and the power of a shared goal.
