Exploring Solihull Play Town
Exploring the environment at Solihull Play Town has been a great experience for Kindergarten and Nursery this week. There was something for everyone to enjoy!
There was a buzz of excitement as children investigated the toys on offer, and chatted to each other when building up and acting out their own stories. Developing communication skills through role-play is incredibly important at this age, as is learning to negotiate and work collaboratively with others.
There were a few scary moments when the firefighters had to leap into action, and the Supermarket suffered a little from stock supply issues as the morning went on! Every child was busy throughout the morning and the adults all enjoyed seeing their confidence in their play and interactions, and hearing the language shared between them all.
