The Magic of Maths
A team of our talented mathematicians journeyed to King Edward's School, Birmingham, to join pupils from primary schools across the West Midlands taking part in the Year 4 KES Maths Challenge.
The team worked against the clock to complete a crossnumber puzzle and compete in a fast-paced relay. They enjoyed a lesson run by KES teachers and a talk from Barney Maunder-Taylor, a former Oxford graduate, Countdown champion and university lecturer, who placed the magic of maths centre stage! Many congratulations to Orla, Dhanush, Dan and Cindy who were fantastic ambassadors for our school.
