To the Battlements
This week’s trip to Tamworth Castle immersed Form 1 in epic tales of knights, royalty, castles and battles as they experienced first-hand what life was like in medieval times. They helped prepare the dining table for the Lord and Lady of the castle, learned who lived at the castle and how it was used as a defensive structure, and what it took to be a squire and knight in the medieval times.
