Cracking the Code at Bletchley Park

This week Form 6 have been amongst the first visitors to experience The Intelligence Factory, a major new exhibition at Bletchley Park. On their visit to the top-secret home of the WWII codebreakers they experienced what life was like for the 9,000 staff who worked around the clock to convert a mountain of enemy communications.

Taking on the role of the Bletchley Park codebreakers, they learnt how an Enigma machine works and deciphered communications in preparation for the D-Day landing.
