Rugby Revelry

At Rugby School yesterday, where the game began 200 years ago in 1823, our U10 Rugby players won their first game of the season. The Bilton Grange Preparatory School U10 Rugby Festival, hosted by Rugby School, bought together 10 schools as part of the anniversary celebrations that saw Mr Webb Ellis first playing on the fields.

Showcasing commitment to teamwork and developing their skills the whole team played well with Mr Leonard reporting stand out performances from Daniel and Isamu (who only started playing rugby in September) for scoring all our tries with some fantastic evasive running.

Well played boys: Daniel, Ibrahim, Joshua, Ilyes, Layth, Rafi, Isamu, Jeevan and Charlie-Bleu (missing sorry from the impromptu photo call).

Thank you hosts Rugby School and Bilton Grange Preparatory School and all the teams that participated: Cheltenham College, Crackley Hall School, Fairfield Prep School, Laxton Junior School, Maidwell Hall, Milton Keynes Preparatory School, Ratcliffe, The Croft
