Shakespeare Week: The Tragedy of Macbeth

To mark Shakespeare Week, Form 5 observed a long-established Eversfield tradition – the staging of a Shakespeare play in just one week! This year's choice of play was Macbeth, considered by many to be one of Bard's great tragedies, the play highlights the damaging physical and psychological effects of greed and political ambition on those who seek power.  In just one week the children learned what it takes to get a play from script to stage. Lines were learned, stage directions blocked and refined, and the final performance showcased the wealth of acting talent in Form 5.

Well done to all the pupils involved and a huge thank you to the parents for all their support with learning lines at home.
