Wading In

This week's Geography field trip took Form 5 to the bank of the River Arrow where they completed a Big River Watch survey. They studied the health of the river and waded in the water to examine the river bedload and erosion. Read more

Supporting their Latin and classics studies Form 5 enjoyed getting hands-on with the rare Roman archaeological finds at the Roman Alcester Heritage Centre and discovering what life was like there in Roman times. Read more

It’s official. This morning, in a special whole-school assembly, FastAid the life-saving emergency community responder scheme, was unveiled as our beneficiary school charity for 2023-2024. Armed with over 100 Cadbury Twirl bars Mrs Buxton instantly caught the attention of Form 5 in their Maths lesson. They had lots of fun and quickly grasped the concept of decimals and place value using the bars to help represent the value of numbers.   Read more
