Helping Hands at Harvest
Harvest Festival dates back to ancient Britain and celebrates the time of year when crops have been gathered from the field and people can reflect and offer thanks for the food that they have.
Our school community united in many ways to celebrate the harvest season and offer thanksgiving for all the good things we are blessed with in life. Middle and Upper School attended a special service at St Alphege Church while Lower School celebrated at school.
Harvest Festival also reminds us the importance of supporting those less fortunate and provides opportunity to share our good fortune with others. Huge thanks to everyone for the generous harvest donations to the charity Helping Hands who support those most in need within the community. Almost 200 boxes of essential items were collected and provided to the charity.
