Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll
We join the nation in deepest sadness at the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll. There are very few people alive today who remember anything other than her influence on our kingdom.
This morning we held a special assembly to pay tribute to her and remember her dutiful and caring approach as monarch. Eversfield sends its condolences to the Royal Family and wishes King Charles lll every happiness and success in his reign. He cannot have had a better role model to follow.
Monday 19th September, the date of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll’s State Funeral, will be a bank holiday and Eversfield Preparatory School will be closed on this day to allow pupils, parents and staff to pay their respects.
If you wish to record your condolences, Solihull Council has placed two Books of Condolence for members of the public to sign at The Core and Chelmsley Wood Library. The opening times for the condolence book are Monday-Friday 09.00-19.00 and Saturday-Sunday 10.00-15.00. Floral tributes may be placed at Jubilee Gardens, Homer Road, Solihull.
